Sean Powell

Sean Powell is an experienced professional in the telecommunications and project engineering sectors, currently serving as Radio Delivery Lead at Metro Trains Melbourne since May 2021, overseeing significant aspects of the Metro Tunnel Project. Previous roles include Senior Supervisor and Site Supervisor for the Metro Tunnel Build, contributing to extensive tunneling and station construction. Sean has also held several engineering positions, such as Senior Project Engineer at Simoco Wireless Solutions and Field Engineer at nbn™ Australia, where responsibilities included network enablement and systems design. A background in management is evident from the role of Service Manager at AA Radio Services. Sean’s education includes various qualifications in radio trades and communications from RMIT University and TAFE NSW.
