Andrew Young

Andrew Young is a skilled project manager with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as the Lead Project Manager at Metro Bank (UK) since September 2019. In this role, Andrew is responsible for delivering the Bank's Consumer Duty compliance project and the IRB project, alongside managing a large Financial Crime program consisting of eight projects aimed at addressing regulatory gaps. Prior to Metro Bank, Andrew held positions at Deloitte as a Risk and Advisory Manager, at QBE Insurance as a Project Manager focusing on Automation and Robotics, and at Lloyds Banking Group overseeing major offshore change initiatives. Andrew's educational background includes a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Classical and Ancient Studies from the University of Leeds and Newcastle University, respectively.
