Beth Stevens currently serves as a Housing Coordinator at Metrocare Services since July 2023. Stevens has extensive experience in the yoga field, holding roles such as Instructor and Regional Director at Sunstone Yoga since September 2008, and serving on the faculty of Sunstone Academy from June 2014 to July 2023, focusing on teaching adaptive yoga and related subjects. Additionally, Stevens worked as an Adaptive Yoga Teacher for the Dream2Walk Foundation from May 2013 to July 2023, assisting individuals with spinal cord injuries in bridging their physical therapy and home therapy. Previous experience includes positions as a Private Lesson Yoga Instructor at GE Capital and a Yoga Instructor at the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth. Stevens holds a Bachelor's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of North Texas and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences from the University of North Texas at Dallas.

WHO WE ARE Metrocare is changing minds! We are North Texas' leading nonprofit dedicated to helping people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and severe emotional problems live healthier lives. The primary disorders treated by Metrocare include depression, bi-polar, schizophrenia, anxiety, autism, ADD, and ADHD. OUR OPPORTUNITIES Metrocare hires psychologists and psychiatrists (bilingual and Spanish-language skills are needed and valued). We have research programs, and we train a new generation of mental health professionals for work in the public sector. OUR SERVICES Metrocare serves over 50,000 people annually. We provide adult mental healthcare services, including medication management, children and adolescent mental healthcare services, mental retardation/developmental disability services for adults and children, early childhood intervention services, primary healthcare services for families, pharmacy services, and social services that include housing services, occupational services, and foster care training and monitoring. OUR CLINICS Our 14 clinics and satellite clinics (including 7 main clinics) include two Centers for Children with Autism. Clinics are in Dallas, Grand Prairie, and Addison.
