Amanda Floyd

Amanda Floyd, P.Eng. currently serves as Senior Manager, Engineering Assurance at Metrolinx, a position held since October 2019. In this role, Amanda has developed guidance for a System Review Panel to enhance engineering and safety assurance for key changes in transportation infrastructure. Previous professional experience includes senior roles in Systems Engineering Assurance at Metrolinx, where Amanda led teams in developing maintenance analysis tools and establishing engineering standards, as well as significant contributions at De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited in optimizing aircraft maintenance programs and supporting safety investigations. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Queen's University and has completed multiple internships in engineering at Bombardier Aerospace.
