Ata Nahidi

Ata Nahidi, PhD, is a Senior Advisor in Research and Planning Analytics at Metrolinx, where involvement spans various significant projects such as the Ontario Line and Hamilton LRT PDBC. Previously, as an Advisor at the University of Waterloo, Ata led projects focused on climate adaptation in pavement design and analyzed the impact of COVID-19 on construction. A former Research Associate, supervision of a research team contributed to successful client satisfaction and project funding. Ata's educational background includes a PhD and Master's in Transportation and Highway Engineering from the University of Waterloo and the University at Buffalo, respectively, along with a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from K.N Toosi University of Technology.
