Ilya Gilin

Ilya Gilin is an accomplished data governance professional with extensive experience in leading enterprise data initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Data Governance at Metrolinx, Ilya develops strategic guidelines and processes for data governance projects, including data quality and metadata management. Previously, Ilya held key positions at Interac Corp., CIBC, RBC, and Scotiabank, where responsibilities included implementing data governance programs, improving data quality and accountability, and ensuring compliance with data management policies. Ilya's educational background includes a Master's degree in International Economics & Business from Utrecht University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv.
