Melanie Wright

Melanie Wright is a highly experienced professional in risk management and transit service planning, currently serving as the Manager of Risk Advisory at Metrolinx since June 2018. In this role, Melanie provides strategic advice across business units, facilitates risk assessments, and fosters strong organizational relationships. Prior to this position, Melanie held several key roles at GO Transit, including Senior Finance and Contract Specialist and Contract Compliance Officer, where responsibilities encompassed contract management, budgeting, and financial analysis. Melanie's earlier experience with the Regional Municipality of York involved program management and service planning, contributing to improvements in transit services and performance metrics. A graduate of Ryerson University with a degree in Civil Engineering, Melanie possesses a diverse skill set underpinned by extensive project management and analytical expertise in the transportation sector.
