Michael D.

Michael D. has a diverse work experience in legal services. Michael is currently working as the Director of Legal Services at Metrolinx since 2023. Prior to this role, from 2018 to 2023, they served as the Director of Policy and Appeal Management at the Employment and Assistance Appeal Tribunal where they were responsible for assisting in tribunal operations. Before that, from 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Legal Counsel at Metrolinx, where they had a broad practice focusing on regulatory and governmental affairs. Additionally, from 2009 to 2013, they worked as an Associate in the Research Department at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, specializing in general corporate/commercial advice, litigation, and bankruptcy and insolvency.

Michael D. completed their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Victoria from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) (Honours First Class) degree from Queen's University between 1999 and 2003. Their education began at St. Michael's College School, where they completed their high school education from 1995 to 1999.
