Peter Lam - Cia

Peter Lam possesses extensive experience in internal auditing, risk management, and analytics, currently serving as Senior Internal Auditor and IA Analytics Team Lead at Metrolinx since June 2007. In this role, Peter leads a team focused on establishing infrastructure for continuous monitoring and auditing while employing the Three Lines of Defence approach to enhance governance, risk management, and control activities. Previously, from June 2007 to May 2016, Peter held the position of Senior Internal Auditor and Enterprise Risk Management Group Lead, where strong leadership was provided in implementing a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management framework across Metrolinx’s divisions. Peter began a career in auditing and risk management at Aviva Canada, holding various roles including Financial Analyst and Risk Manager. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Commerce and Economics from the University of Toronto and is certified as CIA, CISA, CRISC, and CRMA.
