Fego Ahia

Fego Ahia has worked in the software engineering industry since 2014. In that year, they served as an Executive Board Member for Tufts IEEE, coordinating industry events and tech-talks to improve camaraderie within the engineering community and managing logistics for Student Professional Awareness Conference for electrical engineering majors. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Aubot and Dell EMC. In 2017, they worked as a Design Engineering Intern at Intel Corporation, where they created algorithms to optimize clustering of sequential elements along onchip interconnects and created timing constraints which reduced power consumption along feedthrough paths by 83%. In 2018, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Qualcomm, where they worked on data infrastructure for optimizing ML models meant for GPU power estimation, 3D graphics workloads characterization based on GPU pipeline activity data, and compute and OpenGL benchmarking for digging up architectural opportunities to improve GPU power estimation. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Software Engineer at Google and Metronome.

Fego Ahia completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Tufts University in 2017. Fego then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2017 to 2019. In 2014, they also participated in a Rocky Mountains Outdoor Expedition from NOLS. Fego also attended Brilliant Child College, although no degree or field of study was specified.
