Nate Brennand has worked as a software engineer since 2013. Nate began their career as a Software Developer Intern at McKinsey Digital Labs in 2013. Nate then worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Twilio Inc. in 2014 and Major League Soccer in 2015. In 2015, they joined Clever Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they led the development of the greenfield project Clever Badges, allowing student logins via QR code. Nate was promoted to Senior Software Engineer and then Software Engineer 2 at Clever Inc. In 2019, they moved to Theorem LP as a Software Engineer. In 2020, they joined Stripe as a Software Engineer, partnering with the High Availability & Disaster Recovery team to ensure the MongoDB infrastructure evolved in the proper direction. In 2022, they joined Bolt as a Software Engineer and in 2023 they joined Metronome as a Software Engineer.
Nate Brennand obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Columbia University between 2011 and 2015. In 2020, they obtained three certifications from Coursera: Graph Search, Shortest Paths, and Data Structures; Greedy Algorithms, Minimum Spanning Trees, and Dynamic Programming; and Divide and Conquer, Sorting and Searching, and Randomized Algorithms.
