Thomas R. Alber

Thomas R. Alber brings extensive experience in law enforcement and education, currently serving as an Enforcement Agent for the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission since February 2020. Additionally, Thomas holds a position as an Adjunct Instructor at Metropolitan Community College-Kansas City, contributing to training future public safety professionals. Previous roles include Range Safety Officer and Firearms Instructor at Frontier Justice, Police Officer at Lake Tapawingo Police Department, and Chief of Police at Garden City Police Department, where significant community policing initiatives were launched. Thomas has held various leadership positions within the FBI-Law Enforcement Executive Development Association and possesses a robust military background as a U.S. Army Officer. Educational qualifications include advanced training from the FBI National Academy, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Administration & Fire Science.
