Jill Schmidt

Jill Schmidt has extensive experience in higher education recruitment and admissions, currently serving as the Director of Undergraduate Recruitment at Metropolitan State University of Denver since May 2022, after previously holding the position of Associate Director of Admissions, Communications and Events. Prior roles include Assistant Director of Admissions and Outreach at Colorado Mountain College from September 2015 to April 2022, where Jill promoted educational opportunities, connected with prospective students, and established relationships with high school counselors. Earlier experience encompasses teaching conflict management and emotional intelligence at The Conflict Center, personnel counseling for Mennonite Mission Network, and various volunteer and leadership roles. Jill holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Bethel College-North Newton.
