Daniel Mazzella

Daniel Mazzella has extensive experience in the transportation sector, particularly with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) where employment began in 1999. As Information & Liaison Officer/Senior Director for Subways Initiatives, responsibilities include overseeing the NYCT Department of Subways Program Management Office and managing incident planning and service recovery. Mazzella has held various leadership positions, including Chief of Staff for Rapid Transit Operations and Deputy General Manager for 7 Line Operations, where management efforts encompassed policy development, service performance, and operational oversight. Previous roles include Assistant to the President, Chief of Staff for Operations Planning, and Assistant Budget Chief at MTA, alongside earlier experience at Merrill Lynch and State Street.
