Chris Midgley is a highly experienced IT professional with a robust background in cloud and infrastructure management. Currently serving as the Cloud & Infrastructure Manager at MetService since March 2022, Chris previously held the position of Senior System Engineer at Liverton Security Limited from August 2021 to March 2022. Prior roles include Infrastructure Manager at VTNZ from June 2016 to August 2021 and Systems Engineer at NIWA, where responsibilities included maintaining the Linux Cluster and managing virtual machines. Chris's career began as a Software Test Engineer at Sun Microsystems (June 2001 - April 2009) and as a Network Engineer at Shopcreator (June 1999 - April 2001). Early experience includes working as a Software Test Engineer at The Santa Cruz Operation. Chris holds a BSc Hons in Computing from the University of Central Lancashire, obtained from 1991 to 1995.
