Rob Harrison serves as the Chief of Customer and Commercial at MetService since July 2018, overseeing customer relationships and driving innovation and new business models. Harrison previously held the role of General Manager Customers and Manager Applied Science and Consultancy at MetService, focusing on research and development to enhance customer value. Prior experience includes a substantial tenure at Met Office from March 2010 to June 2018, where roles ranged from Business Group Lead Operating Officer to Regional Head for Southeast Asia, emphasizing strategy, performance, and international relations. Earlier positions include Head of Renewables and Principal Consultant in the utilities sector, as well as climate-related roles at Intertek and BMT Cordah. Academic qualifications include a degree in Marine Science from the University of Southampton, earned between 1997 and 2000.
