Simon Lewis is a seasoned Solutions Architect with extensive experience in software development and systems architecture. Currently employed at MetService since January 2020, Simon has previously held roles such as Software Architect at VizExplorer and various positions within iPredict Ltd, FINEOS Ltd, Optimation NZ, LIT Belfast, and Statistics New Zealand. Simon's expertise encompasses a range of technologies including Java, Spring, microservices, and various databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Simon has a strong background in data acquisition, analytics, and real-time monitoring, highlighted by significant contributions to transitioning monolithic applications to microservices and implementing single sign-on solutions. Simon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Victoria University of Wellington.
