Carrie Jonsson

Carrie Jonsson is a professional with extensive experience in metallurgy and process engineering. Currently serving as a Process Metallurgist at Metso since December 2023, Carrie has held various roles including PhD candidate at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where research focuses on process metallurgy and high-temperature experiments. Prior experience includes project management at Boliden and Envigas AB, and process development at Outokumpu, specializing in Electric Arc Furnace operations. Carrie’s academic background includes a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and a Licentiate of Engineering in Energy Engineering from Luleå University of Technology, among other degrees in Chemical Engineering and Wood Technology.
