Lasse Salo

Lasse Salo is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Mobile & Mid-Size Crushers at Metso since September 2023. Previously, Lasse held the position of Chief Engineer at Metso Outotec from September 2021 to August 2023 and worked as a Design Engineer at Metso from March 2006 to August 2021, focusing on portable and modular crushing and screening units, project engineering, layout designs, and new product development. Earlier in Lasse's career, experience included roles as a Design Engineer at Moventas, where new product development and gear unit project engineering were key responsibilities, and as a Designer at both Rejlers and Projecton Oy. Lasse Salo earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) from 1990 to 1994.
