Piia Karhu

Piia Karhu is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as President of the Minerals and Metals business areas at Metso since March 2022, Piia Karhu is also a member of the Metso Outotec Executive Team. In addition to this role, Piia Karhu has been a Board Member at Kesko - K-Group since April 2018 and held the position of SVP of Business Development at Metso Outotec from July 2020 to March 2022, focusing on post-merger integration, sustainability, and business intelligence. Prior experience includes significant roles at Finnair, where Piia Karhu was responsible for customer experience and network development, and positions at Ernst & Young Advisory Services and Capgemini Consulting, emphasizing project management and strategic development.
