Simon Wesch is an experienced finance professional with a strong focus on Currency Overlay Management and FX Protected Smart Beta, currently serving as Deputy Director at Bankhaus Metzler since April 2016. Prior roles at the same institution include Head of Currency Management Operations, Vice President, and Senior Currency Manager. Wesch has also contributed to academia as a Dozent in Mathematics at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences from October 2015 to March 2018. Earlier experience includes roles at DZ BANK AG in rating development and risk controlling, as well as tutoring at the University of Zurich. Wesch holds a Master of Science in Finance from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Arts in Banking & Finance from the University of Zurich.
