Courtney Barnes, CMP, is a seasoned Senior Event Manager at Meydenbauer Center since November 2014, leading a team dedicated to successful event execution and managing the Ungerboeck event management software. Previously, as Sales and Guest Services Manager at Meydenbauer Center, Courtney organized and executed numerous events, achieving a remarkable 95% excellence rating on post-event surveys. Prior experience includes serving as Catering Sales Manager at Sheraton Bellevue, where revenue was significantly increased through effective contract negotiations. At Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina, Courtney excelled as Conference Services Manager, surpassing budget goals through optimized catering revenues. Earlier roles included Group Specialist at The Walt Disney Company and Marketing Team Ambassador at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, both highlighting exceptional guest service and sales abilities. Courtney holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida's Rosen College of Hospitality Management.
