Bernd Eikens

Bernd Eikens is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the paper and construction industries. Currently serving as Group CEO and a member of the Advisory Board at MEYER WERFT GmbH & Co. KG since January 2021, Bernd also contributes as a member of the Supervisory Board at Koehler Paper since May 2024 and serves as Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board at JOHANN BUNTE Bauunternehmung SE & Co. KG. Previous positions include a member of the Supervisory Board at Meyer Turku from October 2019 to December 2023 and various executive roles at UPM - The Biofore Company, including Executive Vice President for Fibres and Specialty Papers, and President of UPM North America. Bernd Eikens holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Colorado State University, an MS in International Logistics and Supply Chain Strategy from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Diplom in Paper Technology from Technische Universität Darmstadt, supplemented by studies at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
