Mats Jakobsson

Mats Jakobsson currently serves as Business Controller at Meyer Turku, overseeing financial and project controlling activities for subsidiaries Shipbuilding Completion Oy and ENGnD Oy. Previously held the role of Business Controller at VEO Oy, focusing on management accounting and reporting for Power Distribution and Power Generation projects across Finland, Sweden, and Norway. Mats also worked at Wärtsilä as a Cost Controller, managing supply management reporting and budgeting, and has extensive experience at ABB Oy in various project and logistics roles. Early career stages included positions as a Financial Advisor at Risicum Oyj and a Researcher at Åbo Akademi. Mats holds a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration from Åbo Akademi University and has further education from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
