Pieter Dekker has extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as Ambassadeur Zeevaart for Taskforce Arbeidsmarkt Zeevarenden since March 2017, promoting seafaring education in primary schools. Since April 2014, Pieter has held the position of Captain at MF Shipping Group, overseeing oil and chemical tankers. Prior roles include Manager Crewing at Chemgas Shipping BV from 2011 to 2014 and QHSE Manager at Fairmount Marine B.V. from 2007 to 2011, where responsibilities included quality management and crewing. Pieter's earlier career included significant roles at Jo Tankers, where duties ranged from Marine Superintendent to Master of chemical tankers, and a cadet position at Shell Tankers BV.
