James Horkan is an experienced strategy analyst at empatiX Consulting since October 2021 and serves as the founder of the Brown Chapter of First Generation Investors, a position held since May 2022. Horkan has also worked as a welcome center specialist at Brown University Recreation since October 2021 and held the role of executive vice president for the Brown Chapter of Scholars of Finance until May 2023. Currently, Horkan has accepted an offer for a summer 2024 internship as an equity research associate at MFS Investment Management. Horkan is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Applied Math-Economics at Brown University, with additional studies in Finance and Economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) through a study abroad program. Horkan graduated from St. John's Prep in 2021 with a high school diploma.
