Stephen Sumner

Stephen Sumner is an experienced designer specializing in conceptual design, character design, and illustrations, currently serving as a Senior Designer at MGA Entertainment since July 2021. With a diverse background in the toy industry, Stephen's previous roles include Staff Designer at Spin Master from January 2018 to July 2021, and self-employment focused on brand establishment and freelance work from February 2016 to July 2021. Notable past positions comprise Design Consultant for Reeves International and Skyrocket Toys, as well as Senior Product Designer for Hasbro's My Little Pony Equestria Girls line. Stephen holds a BFA in Toy Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and a BFA in Fashion Illustration and Writing & Literature from Parsons School of Design and The New School.
