Phillip Roberts is an accomplished music educator with extensive experience in music theory and composition. Currently serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor and Adjunct Professor of Music Theory at Miami University since August 2017, Phillip also instructs music technology and theory at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. In addition to these roles, Phillip has been the organist at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and previously worked as a dance accompanist for Cincinnati Ballet and music faculty at Peraza Music Workshop. From 2015 to 2017, Phillip directed the choir at Wilmington Friends Quaker Meeting and has held various teaching positions throughout their career, including a collaborative pianist and instructor at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Phillip holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Composition from the University of Cincinnati, a Master of Music in Music Theory and Composition from Bowling Green State University, and a Bachelor of Music in Composition from James Madison University.
