Shawn McMillian

Shawn McMillian is a seasoned information security professional currently serving as Chief Security Officer at altafiber since September 2023. Prior to this role, Shawn spent 17 years at Western & Southern Financial Group, holding various positions including Deputy Chief Information Security Officer and Director of Information Security, with responsibilities in enterprise architecture and information security. Shawn's earlier experience includes serving as Chief Information Security Officer for the City of Cincinnati. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration in Finance, both from the University of Cincinnati, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same institution. Additional studies were pursued at the University of California, Berkeley.
