Chloe Affaki is an accomplished mechanical engineering student at the University of Michigan, expected to graduate in December 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Currently serving as President, Mechanical Branch Lead, and Chassis and Mounts Subteam Lead for the Michigan Mars Rover Student Project Team, Chloe also works as an Instructional Aide for the ME 350 course. Previous internship experiences include roles at SpaceX as a Falcon 9 Payload Engineering Intern, Johnson & Johnson MedTech as a Mechanical Engineering Intern, and Daimler Truck North America as an Engineering Mechanics Intern, where support was provided to the core engine team of the powertrain R&D engineering mechanics department. Chloe's educational background includes a high school diploma from The Harker School, completed in 2021.

Michigan Mars Rover - Student Project Team

The Michigan Mars Rover Team (MRover) is a student-run, multidisciplinary organization whose mission is to design and build a rover for the exploration of extraterrestrial environments. Our team consists of everyone from freshman to graduate students, representing majors from the College of Engineering and the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. We strive to inspire and educate students about space, Mars exploration, and engineering, and we focus on helping students grow as engineers.
