Anupam Jhingran

Anupam Jhingran, PhD, CLP, currently serves as the Intellectual Property Manager at Michigan State University, overseeing the licensing of the institution's IP portfolio from the Colleges of Human Medicine, Osteopathic Medicine, and Veterinary Medicine since August 2019. Previously, Jhingran worked as a Licensing Specialist at Stony Brook University, where responsibilities included conducting patentability assessments and assisting in patent application preparation. Earlier roles included a Research Associate at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a Technology Transfer Fellow at Cornell University, gaining expertise in evaluating inventions and negotiating licensing deals. Jhingran completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and has a strong background in molecular parasitology, holding a PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru Vishvavidyalaya, along with a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.
