Tariq Abdelhamid

Tariq Abdelhamid serves as the Chief Lean Enterprise & Analytics Officer and Associate Professor of Lean Production/Construction at Michigan State University since August 2000. Additionally, Tariq holds positions as Chief Lean Performance Officer and Integrated Program Organization Advisor at Yokoten Consulting, providing coaching in Lean Construction and related areas since February 2019. Tariq has been a Lean Construction/Production Advisor at Enovio LLC since March 2007 and previously worked in a similar advisory role at The ReAlignment Group from May 2010 to 2015. Tariq was also the Chairperson of the Academic Forum at the Lean Construction Institute from January 2001 to October 2012 and has extensive consulting experience in construction scheduling. Earlier career experience includes a role in Lean Production at Ford Motor Company from 1996 to 2000. Tariq holds a PhD in Construction Management from the University of Michigan and completed a Post Graduate Program in Data Science and Business Analytics at Texas McCombs School of Business in 2021.
