Yan Zhang

Yan Zhang currently serves as the Associate Director of Social Science Data Analytics at Michigan State University, a position held since February 2019. Previous experience includes working as an Executive Assistant to the Chairman at ZhongAn Insurance and founding Scinovation, Inc., where leadership was maintained from April 2011 to February 2014. Yan Zhang also contributed to research as a Post-doc Research Associate at Princeton University for a brief period in 2010. Educational background includes a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Princeton University, an exchange program in Environmental Sciences at the University of Virginia, and a B.Sc. in Environmental and Resources Management from Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg.
