Melissa S. is an Associate Scientist II at Microbac Laboratories, Inc., where Melissa prepares cell culture media and other laboratory reagents. Prior to their current position, Melissa served as an Associate Scientist I at the same company. Before joining Microbac Laboratories, Inc., Melissa worked as an Office Assistant at ODU Center for Learning and Teaching, where Melissa used HTML to edit course web pages to comply with ADA guidelines. Additionally, Melissa was an Undergraduate Research Fellow at University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, where Melissa worked on researching the effect of salinity and Chlorophyll on oyster growth within the Chesapeake Bay. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Old Dominion University.
