Prior to Microchip, Johnson worked at Intel Corporation from 1988 to 2004, where roles included Director & GM of Media Processor Operations and positions in engineering, sales, and marketing. Johnson began a professional career at General Motors from 1983 to 1988 in engineering. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University.
