Luqman Khan

Luqman Khan, PhD, currently serves as Provincial Field Coordinator and National Medical Anthropologist at MicroMerger (Pvt.) Ltd. and as a Consultant and Social Scientist at UNICEF since February 2020. Additionally, Luqman holds the position of Social Scientist and Research Fellow at the Institute of Development Studies. Previous experience includes roles as Communication Officer and Community Engagement Team Lead, as well as Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution Expert at FATA Development Authority from January 2011 to January 2020. Luqman has also worked as a Research Assistant at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Text Book Board and as a Planning Officer for the Fata Rural Development Project. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Development Studies and Anthropology from Qurtuba University of Science and Technology, an MBA, and a BBA from the Institute of Management Sciences. Luqman has further enhanced expertise with a Certificate in Public Health in Humanitarian Crises from John Hopkins University and studies in Anthropology from the Institute of Development Studies.
