Herbert Lafond

Herbert LaFond has over 30 years of experience in IT and management roles within diverse industries. Currently serving as Sr. IT Domain Architect PLM at Micron Technology since January 1996, Herbert specializes in the architecture design and coordination of non-SAP interfaces with Siemens Teamcenter and other Micron systems, while also providing guidance in Enterprise Asset Management, SCADA, and EHS&S. Previous roles at Micron include IT Service Manager and IS Area Lead for both Enterprise Asset Management and Facilities Information Systems. Herbert's earlier experience includes a Research Assistant position at Idaho State University, a Field Artillery Officer in the US Army, and various IT roles at Cyprus Mines Corporation. Herbert holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Computer Information Systems from Idaho State University.
