Thomas Fernández Navarro

Thomas Fernández Navarro has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Thomas currently works as a Post-Market Quality Engineer at MicroPort Orthopedics since November 2021. Prior to this, they were a Technical Service Engineer at BTL Industries from March 2021 to November 2021. Thomas also has experience working as an Entertainment Coordinator at Sala de eventos Ensueños from January 2019 to March 2021. Before that, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at Directions in Research for six months in 2017. Thomas began their career as a Saler at Almacen Casseres LTDA. from October 2013 to February 2014.

Thomas Fernández Navarro attended Universidad Latina de Costa Rica from 2016 to 2020, where they pursued a degree in Ingeniería en Electromedicina (Biomedical/Medical Engineering). Following that, they enrolled in Universidad Fidélitas in 2021 and is expected to complete their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Industrial Engineering by 2025.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Thomas has obtained several certifications. In January 2023, they earned an Especialista en Microsoft Excel, nivel avanzado (Advanced Level Specialist in Microsoft Excel) from Academia TFC Profesionales. Prior to that, in December 2022, they completed an Especialista en Microsoft Excel, nivel intermedio (Intermediate Level Specialist in Microsoft Excel) from the same institution. Thomas also acquired knowledge in Análisis de Datos en Microsoft Power BI, nivel básico-intermedio (Basic-Intermediate Level Data Analysis in Microsoft Power BI) from Academia TFC Profesionales in October 2022.

Thomas holds a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from MF Treinamentos, awarded in April 2022. Thomas further expanded their expertise in engineering by completing a course titled Anatomía, Biomecánica y Patología de Cadera y Rodilla para Ingenieros (Anatomy, Biomechanics, and Pathology of Hip and Knee for Engineers) provided by Universidad de Ciencias Médicas (UCIMED) in March 2022. Prior to pursuing their engineering studies, they completed a course titled Curso Proveedores Comerciales I - Grupo 1 (Commercial Suppliers Course I - Group 1) from RACSA_CR in June 2021. Lastly, in January 2020, Thomas completed the Fundamentos de Marketing Digital (Digital Marketing Fundamentals) course offered by Google.
