Akhtar Badshah

Akhtar Badshah is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in urban development, sustainability, social innovation, youth and entrepreneurship, and disruptive technology. As the Co-Founder of Purpose Mindset and Founder and Chief Catalyst at Catalytic Innovators Group, Akhtar drives strategic guidance and leadership development to enhance social impact. In addition, Akhtar serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for Global Washington and holds positions at the University of Washington as a Distinguished Practitioner and Associate Teaching Faculty, focusing on social innovation and global business strategies. Previous roles include Senior Director of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Microsoft and President and CEO of Digital Partners. Akhtar earned a PhD in Architecture and Environmental Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds a degree in Architecture from the School of Architecture in Ahmedabad, India.
