John Maeda's education history is as follows:

From 1984 to 1988, they attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

John then went on to obtain a Master of Science degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from 1988 to 1989.

Later, from 1990 to 1996, they attended the University of Tsukuba and earned a PhD in Design Science.
