Clay Holder

Clay Holder is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in various high-level roles. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at MAA since June 2017, Clay also held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at the same company. Prior to MAA, Clay worked at AutoZone from November 2009 to June 2017 as Director of Strategic Planning & Business Development. Clay began a career in finance at Deloitte as a Senior Manager from June 2002 to November 2009 and started as an Auditor at Arthur Andersen from January 2001 to June 2002. Clay Holder earned a Master's degree in Accounting from Mississippi State University, completing studies there from 1995 to 2000.
