Mike Kiefer currently serves as Co-director of the hospitalist medical group and Staff Physician at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge since January 2023. From September 2020 to January 2023, Mike held the position of Assistant Professor of Medicine and Clinical and Teaching Hospitalist at Oregon Health and Science University. Prior experience includes serving as a Resident Physician at Oregon Health & Science University from June 2017 to June 2020 and as a Resident at SIU General Surgery from July 2015 to June 2017. Mike earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine (2011-2015) and a post-baccalaureate in Biomedical Sciences from Montana State University-Bozeman (2009-2011). Academic foundations were established with a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from Willamette University (2000-2004). Earlier career experiences include working as an EMT-B at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital and as a sports writer for the Bozeman Daily Chronicle.
