Leila Hempen

Leila Hempen, CISA, CRISC, currently serves as the Sr. Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations at MidAmerican Energy Company since November 2021. With significant leadership experience, Leila also presides over the ISACA Las Vegas Chapter, having held the roles of President and Vice President. Previous positions include IT Audit Manager at NV Energy, where responsibilities encompassed SOX 404 IT testing management and ISO 27001 internal audit certification. Leila's extensive career includes various auditing roles at Discover Financial Services and Northern Trust, focusing on internal audit, SOX compliance, and IT infrastructure controls. Educational qualifications are from Purdue University, where Leila obtained degrees from the Daniels School of Business.
