Waleed Samir

Waleed Samir is a seasoned professional in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving as the Head of Cyber-Security Operations at MIDBANK since May 2023. Prior to this role, Waleed was the SOC Manager at CYLERT from February 2023 to May 2023, overseeing cybersecurity operations for Faisal Islamic Bank. Waleed also held the position of SOC Manager at Information Technology Solutions-ITS from April 2022 to March 2023, serving the same client. Waleed's career in information security began at EALB البنك العقارى المصرى العربى, where roles included Head of Information Security Risk and Business Department and Information Security Analyst from March 2010 to April 2022. Waleed holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Ain Shams University and an additional degree in Accounting and Finance from the Business & Statistical Research Center, Faculty of Commerce Ain Shams University.
