James Welch has extensive work experience in various fields. James began their career in 1989 as an Ammunition Specialist at the 452nd Ordnance Company and later joined the South Dakota Air National Guard in 2000 as a Munitions Handler, eventually retiring from this role in 2011. In 1996, they worked as a Programmer Trainee at Midland National Life Insurance Company before transitioning to Midco in 1998 as a Data Engineer Lead. In 2008, they became a Real Estate Investor at BJE Holdings, LLC. Most recently, in 2020, they worked as a Notary Public at BJE Notary Services.
James Welch holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Sioux Falls, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. James also has an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Lake Area Technical College, earned between 1994 and 1996. Additionally, James holds another Associate's degree in Munitions Systems/Ordinance Technology from the Community College of the Air Force. In terms of certifications, they have been certified for LSS (Loan Signing System) from an undisclosed institution in 2020 and obtained the MCPS (Microsoft Certified Professional) certification from Microsoft in 2015. Furthermore, James is associated with the National Notary Association (NNA), although the exact details of their certification are not available.
