Rich Wirkus is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in month-end accounting functions, financial statement preparation, and cash flow management. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at Midcontinent since September 2014, Rich oversees account reconciliations, state sales tax reporting, and assists with year-end audits. Previously, Rich held positions as a Staff Accountant at RAS and an Accountant/Financial Analyst at Ernst Capital Group, where responsibilities included preparing financial statements and managing payroll. Early career experience includes an Accountant role at Lloyd Companies, focusing on compiling financial statements and interpreting financial reports. Rich holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance from Dakota Wesleyan University.
