Bryan Jao currently serves as the Vice President, Programming and Chief Program Officer at Midland Center for the Arts, a position held since March 2017. Prior to this role, Bryan Jao was the Director of Programming at Wharton Center for Performing Arts from August 2004 to March 2017, where responsibilities included the programming annual calendar and developing profit/loss statements for engagements. Earlier, Bryan Jao developed the Alumni Relations office at Michigan State University’s College of Music, establishing key procedures and managing board communications. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Music Performance from Michigan State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Music Performance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
