MAC's Mission Statement
The Midtown Assistance Center (MAC) is a non-profit, interfaith organization whose mission is to provide emergency assistance to the working poor of Midtown and Downtown Atlanta. MAC's aim is to help prevent homelessness and hunger during periods of crisis.

    Rent assistance to prevent evictions
    Utility assistance to prevent disconnection of basic services
    Groceries for persons experiencing a temporary shortage
    Public transportation to connect clients with job interviews and new employment until the first paycheck
    ID assistance for jobs and job search
    Men's clothing for jobs and Job interviews
    School Supplies for children
    Resume assistance
    Required shoes/boots for jobs
    Counseling and referrals to other organizations
