Doug Massey

Doug Massey is an experienced professional in the forestry and export industry, currently serving as the General Manager of Marketing at Midway Limited since March 2020, where responsibilities include marketing plantation and natural woodchip to the Asian market while coordinating with operations teams across Australia. Prior to this role, Doug was the General Manager at Plantation Export Group, overseeing a joint venture involving the sale of sustainably sourced woodchip, and held the position of General Manager of Woodchip Marketing at Allied Natural Wood Exports. With extensive experience from roles at Forestry Tasmania, 4STree Pty Ltd, Forest Enterprises Australia, SmartFibre Pty Ltd, Daio Paper Corporation, and Citicorp Leasing, Doug has developed expertise in export sales, marketing strategy, procurement, and business development within the forestry sector. Doug holds a BA Hons in English and History from York University.
