Robert Shugrue is an experienced air traffic management professional with a robust background in air traffic control and management. Currently serving as an Air Traffic Manager at Midwest ATC since March 2016, Robert previously held the position of Air Traffic Controller at Sikorsky Aircraft from August 2007 to March 2016. Robert returned to Midwest ATC as Air Traffic Manager from 2002 to 2007 after serving as an Air Traffic Controller at NYMA Corp. from August 1996 to August 2002. Earlier in Robert's career, extensive experience was gained in the United States Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller from June 1983 to December 1992. Academic qualifications include attending the NCO Leadership School and the USAF ATC School, along with a high school education from Rome Free Academy.
